◆ Comparing the appearance of iPhone 11 Pro / 11 Pro Max with the previous model
Since there is no design difference between the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, and the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max other than the size, I will compare the XS and 11 Pro.

The first thing I noticed when I looked at the back was that the “iPhone” characters on the iPhone XS (left) were no longer on the iPhone 11 Pro (right). As a result, the position of the Apple logo has moved to the center of the back.

And most importantly, the biggest change is the evolution from dual cameras to triple cameras. Looking closely at the camera module, not only has one camera added, but the size of the white True Tone flash module has also increased.

In addition, the back has been changed from a glossy finish to a finish that is less noticeable of smudges such as matte fingerprints.

There is no change in the arrangement of the same parts on the top and bottom.

The volume adjustment button, sound on / off button, and antenna line on the left side are arranged in the same way.

Only the side button and SIM card slot on the right side are located on the right side of the iPhone XS. In addition, the body size is iPhone XS 143.6 mm long × 70.9 mm wide × 8.1 mm thin, iPhone 11 Pro is 144.0 mm long × 71.4 mm wide × 8.1 mm thin, and overall the size is slightly increased doing. Similarly, the iPhone XS Max is 157.5 mm long × 77.4 mm wide × 7.7 mm thin, whereas the iPhone 11 Pro is slightly larger in size, 158.0 mm long × 77.8 mm wide × 8.1 mm thin .

The TrueDepth camera located at the top of the display has evolved from 7MP to 12MP, but there is no visual change.

In addition, the silver of iPhone X / XS / XS Max was grayish on the back, but the iPhone 11 Pro / 11 Pro Max has changed to a bright white with goods, and it looks somewhat luxurious .

Display size (5.8-inch and 6.5-inch) and resolution (2436 x 1125 and 2688 x 1242) remain the same, but iPhone 11 Pro / 11 Pro Max is Super Retina XDR vs. iPhone XS / XS Max Super Retina HD display It has evolved into a display. This increases the standard maximum brightness from 625 nits to 800 nits, and can be increased to 1200 nits when viewing HDR photos and videos. The contrast ratio has also changed from 100,000: 1 to 200,000: 1.

◆ Comparing the appearance of iPhone 11 with the previous model
The letter “iPhone” on the iPhone XR (left) has also disappeared from the iPhone 11.

It looks like this when comparing camera modules. Since the iPhone 11 has evolved into a dual camera, the design is such that the two lenses pop out of the square module, similar to the iPhone 11 Pro. Also, the size of the white True Tone flash module seems to be larger on the iPhone 11.

There is no change in the right side and side frame. Both sizes are 150.9mm long x 75.7mm wide x 8.3mm thin, with no change.

Both displays feature a Liquid Retina HD display, and the display size (6.1 inches) and resolution (1792 x 828) are unchanged, with exactly the same.

◆ Weight comparison
The iPhone XS weighs 177g (nominal 177g).

The iPhone 11 Pro is 187g (188g nominal), 10g heavier. Although it is a level that is not noticed unless it is told as a sense actually taken by hand, when you are informed that it is 10g heavier, you will feel that this is certainly more emotional.

iPhone XS Max is 208g (208g nominal).

iPhone 11 Pro Max is 223g (nominally 226g), an increase of 15g.

iPhone XR is 201g (nominal 194g).

I think that the iPhone 11 is a few g heavier than the XR, but this is 192g (nominal 194g), about 10g lighter.

From the left, iPhone 11 Pro (5.8 inches), iPhone 11 (6.1 inches), and iPhone 11 Pro Max (6.5 inches) are arranged in this order. Only the iPhone 11 has a glossy finish on the back, and the other two have a matte finish.
