Q:
The weather changed dramatically during qualifying and final. Did you feel the weather change is positive for you?

Muroya:
The condition changed and yesterday changed the temperature, the temperature went down, and for the aircraft of the aircraft it was more advantageous to lower the temperature than the influence of the wind, so the team thought that "the temperature went down and it went down". In that respect, I thought, "Wind" blowing.

Q:
When I played against Sonka at Round of 14 (R14) today, was there a response that at that point "I'm going to go today?"

Muroya:
R14 was a good time to enter the top even if you got the penalty, so it was realized that the condition of the aircraft was back (from the yesterday 's qualifying that was bad condition). Today I had anticipated frequent penalties, so it was told in advance by the team's strategy staff that "Even if you get a penalty, let's fly to the end anyway". Because I could not stop at turbulence (as for the penalty of R14). Well, but I guess I could have a good flight. It is the same condition that Sonka fly, so I was circling that there was a possibility that something would happen.

Q:
At what stage did you feel that you could win?

Muroya:
There is no it (feeling of winning). There is no end to the end. In R14, Sonka became a fest test loser, Kirby (Chambliss) and Peter (Pete Macrodo) dropped out (dropped out), so it became one fight with Sonka. In the final 4, (Muroya · sonka was the first and third rank), there was no possibility of the title being the combination of 2nd and 4th, with R8 winning (with two people). I knew that Sonka won, so anyway, it was a feeling like "Go to win!"

Q:
A great cheering came up when I rebuilt my attitude largely and rebuilding my attitude.

Muroya:
I think myself that I could return it well. Whether to hit a pylon or out (in-correct level), that was extraordinarily difficult.

Q:
I was surprised that the record of 1 minute 3 seconds in Final 4 came out.

Muroya:
I was surprised for a moment, myself too (lol) because it is impossible time. Even so, I could not possibly have that time. On physical calculations, as long as there is no such thing as a tail wind blowing somewhere, the time of one second does not shorten. Because one second is a tremendously large number. (1 minute) It should have never cut off 4 seconds. The weather was pretty weather and it was a very difficult condition. There were two scenes near the penalty, one place. I thought it would be nice if there was no penalty. I thought that the time would be fast.

Q:
If I thought that the mat and hall of the top qualifier would beat Sonka at R8, I lost with a pylon hit. Was this result surprising?

Muroya:
"With (Sonka) one more time." "It was funny, it was a feeling that you should compete once more." Finally, I felt like trying a decisive battle again. When I was waiting for Final 4, the mat that came back (from R8) was "Soryy, Yoshi!" (Laugh) I was also a little joked with "OK!" (Laugh).

Q:
This year I won 4 victories and captured the title. What is the cause of the title?

Muroya:
There are also overworked places where there are 4 victories. I was wondering if it would be better to get on the podium a little more constantly, but I ranked 4th in 1st place and 2nd in 3rd place. Not limited to this year, aging of aircraft and techniques can not be done in a year, so I've been working on it for a long time. Air race started in 2009, but I think whether flight training started out this year as a result of gradually accumulating race techniques and know-how in nearly 20 years since about 1997 . Although it was not going well, it was really close just by saying "I finally got out one step ahead" in various difficult situations. It was not amusing for someone else to win today.

Q:
Even though it was not necessarily smooth sailing, today I won the Air Race World Champion and one goal has been reached. What kind of new goals will be set in the future?

Muroya:
Because the race will continue. I think that it is really a strong pilot that I can repeat this twice or three times. Paul Bonomum is capturing the world champions three times. After all, his skills were excellent and there were also places that were far away. There is a thing that I want to become more successful toward there. For example, yesterday (qualifying race), I have not been satisfied with my flight and I still have "ah !!" still today. I've been to win the world championship, but I am doing it for the enjoyment of "polishing skills", so I think that I would like to further polish there.

Well, as I got a world champion, I think that sometimes you can be taught from here, standing at the top. Because of this, children who aim for the pilot will also increase. Until now I have received many things for various people and come here, so I think that it is a mission to send it to the next generation, so I think that such activities will gradually become bigger I will.

Q:
Takuma Sato touched on Fukushima at a press conference. What is your desire for Fukushima again?

Muroya:
Fukushima Sports AmbassadorAlthough I have a desire to work in Fukushima, I am fighting overseas racing and I can not get the time to volunteer and it is quite difficult situation. When thinking about what I can do for myself in that I think that it is important to correctly communicate the present condition of Fukushima now. I think that it is important to have Fukushima come over on that. Perhaps, people in the world think that they are completely dead lands. We must dispel such rumors. Of course, it is true that there are areas with high radioactivity in the present situation, but there are not any areas that are not. I think that it is a job to properly convey such a situation.

Then, if we can hold air race as Fukushima convention, it will be "Air Race Fukushima". Well, the world is surprised. If that could be held, people will come. Broadcasting is done all over the world. Then you can understand that it's all right. It is an example, but I think that such activities can be done to myself, I would like to do that kind of thing. Right now, in Fukushima, I have been traveling to children for three years and Fukushima prefecture is doing it as an aerospace industry collection, so I will make an entrance to that, so that the aircraft parts industry will also be promoted to Fukushima , Various stories are beginning to advance. Because it is a place to enter the stage of the future from the point where the reconstruction ended. Since we are well acquainted with aviation, including making future industries, I think that it would be good to become such a driving force. I think that building an entrance is our big work.
