Disney develop Disky "Quasistatic Cavity Resonance (QSCR)" technology to make the entire room a charger



Disney's research facility "DisneyResearchHub" is "Quasistatic Cavity Resonance(QSCR) ", a new technology for wireless power transmission. QSCR is a technology that can transmit power to the whole space closed like a room and charge various devices.

DisneyResearchHub is a technology for generating a quasi-static magnetic field in a space partitioned like a room and transmitting power. A special room of 54 cubic meters is used in the experiment, and the center of the room is equipped with a driving coil and a pole.


First, the signal generator outputs a tone signal of 1.32 MHz.


The power amplifier amplifies the power of the tone signal.


The tone signal amplified by the power amplifier is connected to the driving coil installed in the room.


Capacitor for setting resonance frequency and electric field is attached to the pole which is set at the center of the room.

By using QSCR, it is possible to charge a large number of devices at the same time with the entire room like a charger. In the experiment I could output up to 1900 W and I do not know how this technology can be used for Disney's works and products, but it is certainly a technology that makes me excited.
