The Vatican Library has digitized 4000 precious ancient manuscripts and released them for free



Since its founding in 1448, the Vatican Library has housed more than 80,000 ancient manuscripts and historical books, including manuscripts, printed matter, paintings, plates and incunabula written by a variety of people throughout history. The Vatican Library and NTT DATA of Japan have signed a contract to digitize 4000 ancient manuscripts, ancient documents, and incunabula and publish them for free on the website.
