Miyauchi:

Are the phones that adopt dry batteries conscious of disaster countermeasures?

Miyauchi:
Naturally it is conscious, but since PHS consumes very little electricity, it keeps it for a long time even if you insert dry batteries. Because it is impossible to do this with 3G, it is also the place that made use of the characteristics of PHS.

Q:

Miyauchi:

Miyauchi:
I do not see the number of stations, but about roughly 15,000 stations? We can make it cost-effective at low cost, so we would like to increase it from now on. Since we are exchanging older equipment with new ones, the degree of radio penetration should be increasing steadily.

What about the story that the base station is open for SOFTBANK MOBILE?

Miyauchi:
We are making plans to reduce base stations that had 160,000 stations to about 130,000 stations. However, as I mentioned earlier, I will do it in parallel with the efficiency of radio waves, so I would like you to think that it will be more efficient, not reducing base stations. As far as the network equipment of the base station, the radio waves did not fly so far, but if it is current it is strengthened.

Terao:
When I started PHS, I could only talk to three people per base station. If it is now, ten people can talk. In addition, radio waves which flew only about 500 m at the beginning, now jumps about 1 km. The increased number of channels and the fact that radio waves have gone far away make it possible to reduce base stations and reduce costs. Although the number of base stations will decrease, as a channel, it is the direction to maintain the current state or even increase it.
